Hey there love bird! I’m so glad you're looking at investing in your memories and seeing how Abby Jo can serve you! As a past bride, I know how important a wedding experience is. Looking for the right professional fit that can serve you and deliver is hard to come by. I have a deep passion for the madly in love and truly better-together joyful souls and would love nothing more than to be a part of this new beginning for you both. Weddings are my speciality and because of this I provide a boutique experience to serve only 15 wonderful couples each year. Investing into each relationship and focusing on deeper levels of connection allows me to show up for my clients so I can provide the best experience for them.

Offerings…

I have two collection options. One customizable for your specific needs and the other comes bundled and discounted for a full service experience.
The bundled full service package includes 8 Hours of Wedding Day coverage with an assistant photographer by my side, as well as an engagement session! We’ll start with a ‘Wedding Day Planning’ meeting to ensure a seamless and stress free experience from start to finish. After we’ve got the shots, they’ll undergo color-correcting + artistic editing to stay true to our aesthetic. Before we finish, I’ll provide you with a 10x10 Custom Fine Are Album with privileges to print!

My editing style is meant to be timeless so years down the road, when you are flipping through your photo album, everything you remember about your day stays the same. Let’s face it, you will spend hours, days and months dreaming up every detail of your wedding day, right? So the decisions you carefully made should be documented to be true!
When I ask my couples what their favorite shots in their album are, it's always the ones that are candid. My goal is to always make you forget I’m there. Capturing real moments as they happen give me the opportunity to document the authentic couple you guys are. Say goodbye to awkward poses that don’t feel natural. I make it my job to create an atmosphere that is relaxing so you can take down the walls and hesitations you have! Giggly photos with natural laughter are my personal favorites to shoot! It’s those real moments you’ll love looking back on time and time again. There is definitely a time and place for a cheesy smile at the camera so don’t worry about getting those in, trust me I got you!
As a photographer who offers a boutique style experience, I understand every moment and every detail on your wedding day is important. Every smile, every touch, it’s all part of your wedding day story! Taking into consideration the proper time, light, and artistic creativity to make beautiful works of art, I want to deliver an experience that you can look back on and remember all the details that went along with it. Detail photos are my personal favorite because I know how hard you worked to make every small and big decision. From your dress, your shoes, that love note he wrote you and even the family trinket you attached to your bouquet, those are the precious details that you always want to hold. Phone Call

It is so important to me to have a connection with couples to ensure a good working relationship. Choosing a photographer is more than liking what you see but having that connection. My desire is to tell your sweet love story and that takes a certain level of comfort and confidence in your photographer. We will hop on a quick call and talk all things your vision for the big day and get a feel if we would be a good fit for each other.

Booking

We’re taking this relationship to the next level! Time to make things official with a signed contract and deposit towards your invoice total. We will also work out a few more dates on the calendar such as engagement session and planning session. Pick out your outfits and get all your ideas ready for the shoot!

Engagement session

We will spend about an hour together making real memories. The engagement session is a perfect dress rehearsal for the big day. You guys will get a feel for my shooting style and gain confidence in front of the camera. Plus, get some beautiful photos you can incorporate into engagement announcements and invitations. This is where our relationship really starts to get good!

Planning meeting

Having a perfect day has everything to do with creating a stress-free timeline. About three months before your wedding date, we will sit down together and plan out your wedding day timeline. This creative planning session is all about brainstorming ways we can make your day extra unique to the two of you and planning enough time for each photo opt throughout the day to capture all those perfect moments.

Wedding day and delivery process

It’s finally here! I can’t wait to be there for you on this special day! Sneak peeks are a must so you will have a hand full of images from your wedding day shortly following. Your full wedding gallery will be delivered to you online in 4-6 weeks. If your collection includes a fine art album we will continue to work together in finalizing those details. Albums and print delivery is usually complete within 3 months of your wedding date.

Fine Art Albums

I love preserving memories in tangible heirlooms. We are the digital generation and oftentimes, fail to print anything. It can really be overwhelming at times to sit down and print just that right photo. That’s why I love providing bridal couples with beautiful fine art albums. A 20-spread wedding album is included in collection options. Print several of your favorite moments and tell the story from the day. It’s something you can pick up and feel the weight of your memories and pass them on to the generations to come.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You do not have to but I always suggest doing so! They truly make the planning process so easy and well thought out. I will assist you in creating the perfect timeline for your day and help brainstorm extra fun things we can do for photo opts but just keep in mind I am not the coordinator of the day. You will need someone else there that day to help move things along smoothly.
REAL all day every day! They truly look the best and give your day that extra elegance. It will be well worth it.
Your engagement session includes around 100+ and your wedding gallery includes around 900+. I want you to have every meaningful photo we got that day. With that said, we do toss the unsightly photos that no one will miss - trust us on that one!
That is a real possibility! If you have a truly unique and outstanding day, I may decide to submit your gallery to a few publishing sites to see if you can get published! The more unique moments and details you can put in your day the more of a chance we may have in publishments.
Yes! There are optimal times during the day for photos. High noon is not one of those times so when we meet together to talk about all things wedding day timeline, we will strategically talk about that. The best times of day are 1 hour after sunrise and 1 hour before sunset.
Yes! Just yes! Inquiry with me and we will talk about additional travel expenses.
Yes! Every session and wedding day comes with a print release from Abby Jo Photographer. This means you will be able to take your photos and print them as you please. This however does not mean you have the right to alter images in any way. All copy rights remain with Abby Jo Photography.
My shooting style includes a feature where I record two copies of every photo. If for some reason one of my cards fails, the other is still in tack. When I get home, I immediately back up all photos 2 more times so there are always 4 copies of your photos until the day I deliver your photos online.
One is good, but two or three is great! You hire the main for their vision of the day and you hire two or three to cover everything you wish to have covered. It is possible with one photographer to miss something important. With two you have double the coverage and two unique views of the day to consolidate into a beautiful collaboration.
