Hey there sweet friend, I’m so glad you are here to learn more about the Abby Jo Senior experience! Whether this is your first time getting photos done or your second, my relaxed approach to shooting can make you feel at ease when I’m behind the camera. I’m here to serve the seniors that are full of life and excited for their journey ahead. Hair and Makeup

Hair and Makeup are included in almost every collection option to help you look your best. We simply want to accentuate your natural beauty. Most importantly, professional makeup is needed to illuminate your skin and give you a flawless look behind the camera. PLUS, it’s so fun to get pampered just once!

What to wear

There are 5 basic types of outfits we will shoot for: Monochromatic, Floral and patterns, Dress/ Suit and Everyday Casual. We want to capture photos in a very ‘you’ outfit. And ALWAYS ACCESSORIZE! Add fun pieces that can give us something to play with in a photo like a long flowing dress, hat, jean jacket, jewelry etc.

The best time to take photos

Senior sessions are often done on a weekday morning. I usually ask seniors to take a few hours out of school that day to get pampered and do their sessions. Seniors have very busy schedules with work, sports, family and it becomes very complicated, so a weekday morning is usually a nice time to sneak away for a little self-care. Plus, soft morning light is always best for photos.

Making it meaningful

Are you into any particular hobbies or sports? Tell me all about them before the session so we can capture some of those important things for you! This session is all about preserving high school memories and sports/ hobbies are totally part of that!

It's all in the details

Having a perfect session is all about planning. We will chat together about the perfect location that screams you! Make sure to tell me details about yourself that we could use for photos. I truly want to make this memorable so help me help you!

Booking logistics

A signed contract and deposit is due to secure a session date. I’m happy to answer any questions you have about working together! Once we work out all of the important details, we’re on our way to a photoshoot! Payment plans are available to help every senior feel beautiful.

No that is not under my typical editing workflow. If that is something desired, an additional cost will be added to the client’s package.
Think of make up as an enhancement tool not an alteration tool. We simply want to accentuate your natural beauty. And most importantly professional makeup illuminates your skin and give you a flawless look behind the camera. Plus, it’s so fun to get pampered just once! Airbrushing is not a service, but I provide retouches for noticeable blemishes and imperfections.
There are 5 basic types of outfits we will shoot for. We will cover all this with you before the big shoot. Most collections come with an outfit consult to help coach you towards the right outfits for your body type.
No! Abby is very good at pulling out the natural you through games and laughter. Its her job to make you feel confident in front of the camera. We will create some magic as long as you come with an attitude that is open to having fun and maybe even silly at times, just go with abby. She knows how to get natural photos of the real you.
It does not give clients to change or alter photos in any way, but it does allow clients to go and print photos at their ideal photoshop.
Deposit is due at booking to secure your date and final payment is due at our session together. Payment plans are available.
Spring, Summer, and Fall! Winter can be done, it’s just so cold to be out in a pretty dress that time of year.
